WHERE TO FIND US

The use of Postcodes in satnav systems can be a little unreliable in rural areas (Especially the Google App on your phone). Please check where you are coming to on a map before you set off, its easy to get here if you have already looked and may avoid the need for awkward maneuvers on no through roads if you are towing a caravan!

Its best to aim for Beadlam Rigg and carry on to the end of the road.

Using the postcode alone may take you just north of Pockley on a different no through road which can prove difficult to turn around on for some larger units. Always turn right at the top of Pockley sign posted Beadlam Rigg.
Caravans are prohibited on Sutton Bank
This is on the A170 to the East of Thirsk  and has a 1:4 gradient with hair pin bends!
A caravan route is signposted through Coxwold and Ampleforth.
There are two routes to the farm from the A170 between Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside:

THROUGH POCKLEY

Take the turn to Pockley from the A170 and continue through the village. At the last house (Also called High Farm!) take the turn to the Right sign posted Beadlam Rigg and Beadlam 3. Follow this road down and up a hill through a wood and at the junction bear left, sign posted Beadlam Rigg and continue up the no through road. You will pass, Low Farm, Middle Farm and High Farm is the last property.

THROUGH BEADLAM

Take the turn to Beadlam from the A170 and continue through the village and out into the countryside. After 2 miles take the turn to the left sign posted Pockley 1 Helmsley 3 1/2. Follow this road up a short hill and at the junction turn right, sign posted Beadlam Rigg and continue up the no through road. You will pass, Low Farm, Middle Farm and High Farm is the last property.
  • The CAMC CL is located on the left hand side and is accessed through the double gates opposite the second farm entrance.
  • For The Bothy take the first right turn into the farmhouse yard. The Bothy is the first building you come to on the left hand side. Please Park within the metal fenced area in front of the building.
  • The Retreat, is the second turn on the right just after the farmhouse. Drive through the closed gate which leads to it’s own parking area next to the caravan.
